  The meal that we had today was absolutely lovely. We had the Summer grain salad bowl with crumbled feta and salmon which was to die for!!

  Great BnB, pub, and restaurant. Accommodation cost very competitve. Set in lovely old sleepy village. Staff were friendly and vey helpful. Would definitely stay again.

  Stayed with friends at this little gem of a pub for our yearly catch up. Food was yummy staff and managers were great host, we got a real vibe of old country family pub. Locals were friendly and you can see the locals love there pub great stay highly recommend*****

  Came here with friends to try the new menu launch night. We got seated quickly, shown the new menu and talked through some of the new dishes. The staff did mention there might be a bit of a wait as the team were still getting used to the new menu, which was totally understandable. Our waitress was really attentive and kept checking we had drinks and everything we needed. Food came out not too long after and all our mains were cooked beautifully. We all had a really lovely evening and have already booked in for Sunday roast — can’t wait to come back! Big credit to the team as well, they all seemed to handle the busy service really well. Can’t comment on the rooms as we didn’t stay over.

  We saw the launch of the new menu on Facebook, so we decided to go for a date night and give it a try. We phoned ahead to book a table, and when we arrived the pub was busy. A member of staff kindly asked us to grab a drink at the bar while they prepared our table, and after around 10 minutes we were seated. The staff recommended the flat iron chicken, while my wife chose the curry — both dishes were absolutely delicious. We also noticed the pub is undergoing a revamp, which is looking really promising. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to catch up with Ant & Ben, which was a shame — maybe they were on holiday! We had a great night and can’t wait to come back and try more of the new menu. *****
